Many Black people enjoy comics, movies and anime. However, Teef Online went to Comicon to find out why there were not a greater number of Black people at Comic-con events. He asked the Black attendees these 3 questions:

    1. What brings you to comic-con?
    2. Why don’t you think we see enough Black people at events like this[comic-con]?
    3. What do you think needs to be done to get more people of colour to come to events?

There is a range of different answers as you can see. But, what you can also see is that there are many black people who are enjoying comic-con. I myself have at least 2 people on my facebook who attended comic-con in London. I also know countless black people who like comics, DC/Marvel movies and anime. However, it still true that if there were a greater number of Black superheroes, there would be a great number of Black people enjoying comic book movies and going to comic and anime events. Hopefully, the future will be more inclusive with films like Black Panther, Cyborg and potentially John Stewart Green lantern going out.
