Greater Manchester Police have said that the attacked continued to assault the pensioner event after he fell to the floor in Failsworth, Oldham. The attack didn’t stop until a passerby tried to intervene and the attacker ran off.
News stories like this just show how despicable and callous some people in our society are. They lack respect and morality. I read a news story like this and I think of my own grandparents and the potential danger they could find themselves in if met with such an evil person.
As a society we really need to work harder and do better! You or I may be reasonably young now. But one day we will be that 70 year old man whom needs help.
